Since 1978, APEX Hood Cleaning has protected kitchens up and down the West coast. Our well-trained, certified, and experienced technicians have cleaned hoods in some of the busiest kitchens in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. Along the way, we’ve built up a loyal customer base that includes Red Robin, Whole Foods, Jack in the Box, McDonald’s, Walmart, Best Western, Burger King, the US Military, and hundreds of other American institutions.

Our History
APEX Hood Cleaning was founded in 1978. Craig and Melissa Wood were inspired to purchase the company in 2007 when they witnessed a shortage of customer service professionalism in the fire prevention industry. Originally, the company operated under the name Exhaust Masters, before rebranding as APEX Hood Cleaning in 2012.
What started as a small, one-truck business has now grown to include multiple branches up and down the West coast.
While our company has grown a lot over the last 40+ years, we’ve always stayed faithful to our small-town roots and the industries that we serve.
